Curriculum

Curriculum

Camelot follows the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC), which is internationally recognized in the field of early childhood education. Deeply rooted in research, the curriculum is geared towards an international audience, with a special focus on multilingualism and diversity. It includes outcome-based, objective-based, play-based, and inquiry-based learning approaches.

The IPC curriculum covers seven core content learning areas: Numeracy, Language Arts, Social and Emotional Skills, Social Science, Creative and Visual Arts, Technology and Science, and Physical Development and Motor Skills.

At Camelot, the IPC curriculum has been adapted to make it culturally and developmentally appropriate to the individual learning needs of the child.

Bilingualism

In addition, we are a strong believer of the benefits of early bilingualism. Young children have the innate ability to pick up more than one language seamlessly and simultaneously, as well as acquire native pronunciation naturally. At Camelot, we foster the successful bilingual development by incorporating English and Mandarin in our daily programme. Our infants and toddlers are exposed to Mandarin songs, nursery rhymes, and activities delivered by our Mandarin native speaker educarer.
